We took a quick trip to Moab this weekend. Alex flew in from the U.K. and is here for a few weeks before taking off to Nauvoo. Hooray! A few of the many highlights of the trip include:
1. Not realizing we'd pulled into the parking lot of our cheap hotel as we called for more detailed directions.
2. A vague memory of trying to escape Viv spooning me in the middle of the night.
3. The perfect weather and fantastic Thai food.
4. My sun-resistant skin. I don't burn. Came back white as ever.
5. An epiphany: I look like a big goof in my huge sunglasses.

Way cool trip! We should try to incorporate a Moab trip into this year's family vacation plans, eh?
